A Workshop at Tanta University Entitled “Mechanisms of Digital Enrollment and Registration of International Students”

Tanta University held a workshop entitled “Mechanisms of Digital Enrollment and Registration of International Students” where Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, gave a lecture in attendance of vice deans of faculties for education and student affairs, managers of education and student departments at the faculties, and Prof. Haytham Al-Komy, Manager of Education Department at the University. Prof. Mohamed Hussein reviewed the new mechanism used for nominating international students by the Central Administration for International Students' Affairs in Cairo. He pointed out that paper verifications will no longer be used; the digital platform “Study in Egypt” will be used instead so that enrollment and registration procedures can be easier for expatriates. Furthermore, University Vice President talked about supporting the international students at faculties of the university, and offering unique academic programs and services to attract students. In addition, he gave directions as for solving any problems that might face them.
