Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, asserted that increasing the number of international students of various nationalities has become a high priority of the university. Thereupon, the university seeks to offer services to international students, to overcome any obstacles and to digitalize all student services. He declared that the university has recently had an increased number of international students who have come to study at its different faculties. Hence, the Center for International Relations and International Students’ Affairs is keen on helping them to participate in student activities; literary, artistic and sports competitions will be held for them during International Student’s Week that will be organized in March. Moreover, Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Executive Manager of the Main Center for International Relations and International Students’ Affairs, pointed out that international students’ registration for various competitions will begin next March at all faculties of the university in the framework of International Student’s Week. Registration is at Youth Welfare administrations at all faculties in the following activities: the competition of drawing and fine arts, the competition in literary fields (poetry, story, novel, and article), the competition of talents (singing, solo music playing, and tawashih), the competition of photography for the best photo about Egypt; the competition of documentary films about a country of an international student; the sports tournament (in futsal, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, speedball, fitness, and arm wrestling). He added that International students can take part in these competitions via registration at Youth Welfare Administration at each faculty or via sending an e-mail to the Main Center for International Relations and International Students’ Affairs: IRSA@unv.tanta.edu.eg.
