Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University organized a graduation ceremony for a new cohort of students of the Malaysian Program under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, in attendance of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of University Hospitals’ Board; Malaysian Ambassador\ Zamany Ismael; Prof. Walid Samy, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Amal Abo Al-Ela, Academic Coordinator of the Malaysian Program. Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated the Malaysian students on their graduation affirming that Tanta University always welcomes international students at its faculties to benefit from the experience of professors in various specializations. Moreover, Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim expressed his pleasure with sharing the Malaysian students their graduation ceremony. He indicated that the Malaysian Program is significant in enhancement of the scientific and cultural relations between Malaysia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. It is worth noting that the ceremony was held with participation of Prof. Bahaa Tawfik, Head of the Medical Syndicate in Gharbia; as well as many professors, academic staff members, assistant staff members and students. The Malaysian students were honored and granted certificates of appreciation, and memorial photos were taken.
